Propagating initial capitals

Where sentences don’t start with a capital for some reason, there’s no need to propagate the need for one until you find somewhere to put it.

Um… surely not. The Dutch don’t make mistakes when referring to their own country, do they? It turns out to be a surprisingly tricky one.
