Words badly underused in Dunglish
There are some words that are hugely more common in English than their nearest Dutch equivalents. As a result, Dutch authors foregt to use them much of the time. A sprinkling of these few words will make your English much less clunky.
Sommige woorden komen veel vaker voor in het Engels dan de dichtsbijzijnde equivalenten in het Nederlands. Men vergeet daarom vaak dat ze goede alternatieven zijn. Hieronder staat een tiental woorden vaker gebruikt kunnen.
